International Women's Day is a symbol of the struggle for the rights, justice, peace and suffrage of working women, starting in 1910. This day is another opportunity for everyone who believes in equality. In many countries of the world, the historical struggles that our next generation of women and sensitive men have led to better lives for the women of our present generation. Today's society has become better. Various programs are organized by Sahiyar (Women's Organization) to celebrate Women's Day.

- ગરબાનું ગૌરવ કરવાનું, જો જો ના ચૂકાય જી”
- દર વર્ષેસહિયર(સ્ત્રી સંગઠન) ધ્વારાજાગૃતિ ગરબાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવેછે.જાગૃતિ ગરબા કરવાનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ્ય એ છે કેગુજરાતની આગવી સંસ્કૃતિ ધ્વારા બહેનોના મનની વાત લોકો સુધી કલાત્મક રીતે પહોચાડવી.દર વર્ષે જાગૃતિ ગરબામાં વિવિધધર્મના બહેનો અને બાળકો જોડાય અને પોતાની આશા, આકાંક્ષા, સ્પંદનોઅને શમણાઓને વાચા આપી પરંપરાગત નૃત્યનો આનંદ ઉઠાવેછે.જાગૃતિ ગરબાના શબ્દો સમાજને સંદેશો આપવાનો એક કલાત્મક અભિગમ છે.
- સ્ત્રીની સર્જનશીલતા,ધરતીમાતાની સર્જનશીલતા અને ફળદ્રુપતાનું પ્રતિક એટલે ગરબો.ગર્ભમાંથી ગરભ અને એમાંથી અપભ્રંશ જન્મેલ ગરબો.ગરબામાં ગોળ ગોળ ઘૂમતી નારીનો ઉત્સાહ વર્ણવવા શબ્દો ન જડે.પોતાની દબાયેલી લાગણી અને માંગણીને ગરબામા ઢાળી સ્ત્રી પોતાની ભાવના પ્રદર્શિત કરે છે.બધા જ ભાગ લઇ શકે માટે વર્તુળાકાર રમાય છે.વર્તુળ બધાને સમાવી શકે, નાનું મોટું થઇ શકે.લોકગીતોના ઢાળ-સુર પણ એવા જે હૈયા સોસરવા પણ હોય અને સહેલાઈથી ગાઈ પણ શકાય તે હેતુથી આ ગરબાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવેછે.
